About Me

I’m Vanessa, a bilingual speech-language pathologist based in Houston, Texas. I’ve been practicing as an SLP for two years, following eight years of hands-on experience as a licensed SLP-Assistant. I earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of St. Augustine – Dallas campus in April 2023 and my Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University- Kingsville in August 2015.

My clinical focus includes, but is not limited to:

  • Language delays and disorders

  • Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)

  • Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)

  • Cognitive-communication challenges in adults

  • Articulation and phonological disorders

  • Coming Fall 2025: Sensory-based feeding therapy

Payment & Insurance

At this time, Jeremiah Speech Solutions, PLLC is a private pay practice. Payment is due at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

We are not currently accepting insurance, but we are actively working on becoming credentialed with Medicaid and other major insurance providers. Updates will be posted here as we begin accepting additional coverage options.

If you’d like to request a superbill to submit for possible reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits, we are happy to provide one upon request.

Jeremiah Speech Solutions is named after my son, Jeremiah, who was diagnosed with autism in 2022 when he was 22 months old. More than just a business name, it reflects my “why”—the reason I do what I do every day.

As a mother of a child with special needs, I understand the whirlwind of emotions that can come with a diagnosis. The fear. The frustration. The grief that hits in waves. I’ve felt it all. But I also know the joy that comes with the smallest milestones—the first time your child answers a question, makes a new sound, or tastes a new food for the first time. These victories are everything!!!

When I work with your loved one, I don’t just bring my clinical experience—I bring my heart. I see them through a lens of hope, and I walk alongside you not just as a professional, but as a fellow parent who gets it.
